AT-KABUL: The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) distributed food items among 1,000 deserving families in the capital on Thursday. Each and every family received 25 kilograms of rice, 50 kilograms of flour and a 5-littre can of cooking oil, C.E.O of the ACCI Mr. Atiq Ullah Nasrat told media men.
He added that first a survey was conducted to pinpoint the deserving families in the outskirts of Kabul whereas after that the aid program was started off. Food packages were distributed among approximately 20,000 deserving families since the very start of the Ramazan out of the charity fund established by the traders four years back, Attiq Ullah furthered. The aid receiving families extended their heartfelt gratefulness to the Chamber officials.
