AT News Report-KABUL: In the aftermath of Pakistan’s efforts and struggles to help the Afghan government for bringing the Taliban to negotiation table, President Ashraf Ghani on Friday commended Pakistan’s efforts for putting the reconciliation process back on the right track.
The presidential Palace (Arg) said in a statement that the national unity government has increased its struggles for the past six months aimed at bringing peace and stability in the country.
The source said that leaders in Kabul and Islamabad have realized the fact to work jointly for overcoming challenges and eliminating terrorism from the region.
“Afghanistan, Pakistan and other regional countries want to sincerely and honestly work jointly against terrorism,” the statement added.
Afghanistan and Pakistan intensified their efforts in war on terror and brining peace and stability in the country in the aftermath of deadly attacks eastern Paktia province and Peshawar city which left several people dead, mostly children.
