AT-KABUL: Ministry of Defense said that eight robbers have been arrested in northern Kunduz highway.

A press statement issued by MoD said that army soldiers succeeded to arrest eight armed robbers during a joint operation in Kata Khil area of Kunduz highway.

Statement said that the armed robbers were involved in different armed robbery in Kunduz highway.

The robbery group had been stopping vehicles and busses in Kunduz highway and taking the passengers money and valuable goods.

On the other hand a Taliban commander surrendered with his weapon to army forces in Dand-e-Ghori of Baghlan province.
