AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The national cricket team defeated Netherlands by 32 runs in the second qualifier match for International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20.

Afghans set a target of 163 runs from 20 overs by losing 7 wickets after Netherlands won the toss and elected to field first.

Samiullah Shinware, scored 44 runs from 42 balls by hitting 3 fours and 1 six, while Mohammad Nabi and Najibullah Zadran scored 33 runs each.

Nawroz Mangal scored 29 runs, Shafiqullah remained not out after scoring 13 runs from 3 balls and by hitting 2 sixes.

The Netherlands batsmen could not chase the given target and were all out after scoring 130 runs from 19.4 overs.

On the bowling side Dawlat Zadran and Sharafuddin Ashraf took 3 wickets each, Mohammad Nabi 2 wickets and Hamid Hassan 1 wicket.
