The Afghanistan national football team is preparing for the upcoming friendly match against Pakistan national football team.
According to the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) the friendly match is scheduled to be organized after eleven days in Pakistan.
AFF officials said Monday a technical class was organized ahead of the friendly match in a bid to further analyze the players of Pakistan football team.
The officials further added that the Afghan team is also gearing up for the match by participating in practical training.
The venue of the friendly match has not been confirmed so far. However, the Pakistani Football Federation (PFF) officials said earlier that Pakistan is keen to host two matches in Islamabad the capital city of Pakistan and in Lahore city.
This would be the second friendly football match between the national football teams of Afghanistan and Pakistan which is organized almost one and half year after the first match.
The Afghanistan national football team defeated Pakistan 3-0 in the first friendly match which was organized on 20th August last year.
Last year’s friendly match between the two neighboring nations was branded as a ‘symbolic’ football clash which was organized after almost 36 years. (KP)
