Kabul: Indian Foreign Minister NSG Shankar, in a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, said in Moscow that the international community has reduced its attention to Afghanistan.
Mr. Shankar asked Afghanistan’s neighboring countries to cooperate with each other to ensure that Afghanistan’s soil is not used for terrorist purposes: “The international community will monitor terrorism and terrorist activities outside Afghanistan for reasons. Promises have been made in this regard.
The international community, especially the neighboring countries, will cooperate with each other to ensure that there is no terrorist threat from Afghanistan to the world.”
Mr. Shankar said that in this case he has discussed with his Russian counterpart that he would agree to continue supporting the Afghans.
He said that in this conversation it was emphasized that the Taliban will fulfill their promises to the international community.
Meanwhile the Taliban had already assured the world that the soil of Afghanistan will not be used against any country.
