KABUL: With 106 new positive cases registered in the last 24 hours, Afghanistan now officially has 36,263 coronavirus cases across the country. The Ministry of Public Health on Monday said that out of 471 suspected samples, 106 were reported positive.
According to the ministry 20 positive cases registered in Farah, 21 in Badghis, 16 in Herat, 14 in Kabul, 13 in Daykundi, nine in Bamyan, six in Ghor, three in Takhar, two in Badakhshan and one cases each in Laghman and Panjshir provinces.
10 patients have lost their lives to the virus and 18 others recovered during the past 24 hours, and total recoveries reached 25,198 and the deaths to 1,269 across the country.
