Afghanistan records 112 new coronavirus cases

KABUL: With 112 new positive cases out of 333 in the last 24 hours, Afghanistan now officially has 35,615 coronavirus cases across the country.

The Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday said that 38 positive cases were recorded in Balkh, 23 in Herat, 20 in Ghor, 12 in Paktika, seven in Paktia, four in Badghis, two in Kandahar, two in Nimroz, two in Nuristan and one cases each in Laghman and Nangarhar provinces.

According to the ministry, 76 covid-19 patients have recovered and three others have died in the past 24 hours.

The total recoveries have reached to 23,739 and the deaths to 1,186 across the country.
