Afghanistan records 1,407 new Covid-19 cases, 64 deaths

KABUL: The Ministry of Public Health on Monday recorded 1,407 new cases of Coronavirus and 64 deaths across the country in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry’s data, the new cases come positive out of 4,514 suspected samples tested in different laboratories during the same period of hours. The total tally since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached to 117,158 cases nationwide. Another 917 patients have fully recovered and discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths exceeded to 4,794 around the country since the outbreak of the pandemic started over a year ago.
