Afghanistan sees quick decrease in Covid-19 cases

KABUL:  Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Saturday said that it has recorded 378 new cases and 49 deaths across the country, which reveals a sharp decrease in the past 24 hours.

Ministry said that out of 1,759 suspected samples tested in laboratories in the past 24 hours, 378 were reported positive.

The total tally since the outbreak of the epidemic reached to 140,602 cases in the country.

Ministry said that 649 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours.

The death number exceeded to 6,147 in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic.
