Kabul: The Ministry of Finance of the interim government of the Taliban has announced that Afghanistan is going to import 350,000 tons of petroleum products from Iran in order to reduce the price of petroleum products in the country.
According to the ministry’s announcement, the contract for the purchase of this amount of oil was signed during the trip of a delegation from Afghanistan to Iran.
In another occasion Iran’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Hassan Kazemi Qomi met with Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq Khan.
In this meeting, some important developments and cooperation were discussed and both sides exchanged their views on Afghanistan and the region.
