KABUL: The Ariana Afghan Airline, a government owned-airline will resume international flights in the coming week.
Heard of the airline, Qari Rahmatullah Gulzad said that Turkey and Qatar are repairing Kabul Airport and that the airport will be functioning in the near future.
The Arian Afghan Airlines had earlier resumed domestic flights after the collapse of the former government of President Ashraf Ghani. There are discussions to facilitate flights between Kabul-Delhi, Gulzad added. “The Qatari and Turkish technical teams enabled us to resume flight operations.”
According to the Taliban officials, the U.S. Forces inflicted heavy damages to the airport before they left it.
