KABUL: The Foreign Minister Mohammad Haneef Atmar held talks with his Turkmen counterpart over the next phases of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) natural-gas pipeline.
The foreign minister said in a statement on Tuesday that the Atmar and Turkmen foreign minister, Rashid Meredow discussed the regional connectivity projects particularly the (TAPI) natural-gas pipeline that would transfer gas from Turkmenistan to Pakistan and India through Afghanistan.
The statement added that the Turkmen foreign minister gave information to Atmar regarding his country preparedness on the next phases of (TAPI) natural-gas pipeline.
