AT-KABUL: The National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar met French ambassador to Kabul Jean-Michel Marlaud, discussing important issues, his spokesman said Tuesday.
“The two sides held talks about ongoing political and security situation in Afghanistan and the issue of Afghan refugees in Europe,” said Tawab Ghorzang.
During the meeting, the ambassador said that France would continue supporting Afghanistan’s latest stance to define the enemies of Afghanistan and the Afghans, he added.
Marlaud also informed Atmar of the end of his tenure as French ambassador to Kabul in the near future.
Atmar praised and appreciated the efforts and achievements of Marlaud’s diplomatic tenure as ambassador in Kabul.
He added that during Michel’s mission at Kabul, the relations had expanded extensively, and hoped the same would continue in future as well.
