AT-KABUL: The National Security Advisor, Hanif Atmar met Monday the NATO-led Resolute Support mission commander John Nicholson, emphasizing on the implementation of the NATO summit’s decisions about Afghanistan.
According to the National Security Council, on behalf of the government and people of Afghanistan, Atmar thanked Nicholson for his cooperating with the Brussels summit’s readiness. He especially thanked the US and other NATO member countries for their pledges over helping Afghanistan by 2024.
He urged the NATO support of the Afghan air force and called it important.
The two sides also talked on the security of voting centers during the October election.
