AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Amar Sinha Ambassador of India in Kabul called on National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar on Tuesday where they discussed different mutual issues, including bilateral ties between the two countries.
According to a press release by Atmar’s office, the two sides talked about strengthening relations between the two countries.
Atmar said the Afghan government has set priorities for its foreign policy, and that neighboring countries are in its top priority.
He thanked India for its cooperation in big projects — including Salma Dam – and demanded continuation of New Delhi’s support with Afghanistan.
Amar Sinha termed Afghanistan as India’s ally and friend, and assured that his government will continue its support to Afghanistan’s economy and security.
