AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The Ministry of Education (MoE) said that terrorist attacks on schools and students have recently increased.
This comes at a time that Islamic State, also known as Daesh, has recently warned girls in several districts in Nangarhar province against going to school.
Kabir Haqmal, a spokesman for the MoE, said that terrorist have increased their attacks on schools and students this year as comparing to the past.
He added that the attacks have deprived scores of children from their right to education.
The United Nations (UN) said the insecurity has closed down some 469 schools across the country and has deprived some 35,000 students from education.
