KABUL: British Ambassador to Kabul in a disgraceful statement has said that war and insecurity has become a part of lives of the Afghan people.
Following his country’s dual game regarding Afghanistan, Sir Nicholas Kay has called on the leaders of Afghanistan to avoid political games in the peace process, the Weesa Daily reports.
Kay has called Kabul-London relations good and friendly, while Afghans have repeatedly suffered from Britain’s interferences.
He once again emphasized on the elections in Afghanistan and asked for increasing efforts to hold parliamentarian and presidential elections.
“War and insecurity is part of the life in Afghanistan, thus, it is hard to bring peace to the country,” said Kay, adding that peace is the wish of the people of Afghanistan and working to bring peace is the responsibility of the government of the country. “We also support the peace efforts in Afghanistan.”
Drawing the notorious Durand Line that has divided a united nation was the British government’s work. This line has caused big problems with Pakistan.
Britain has also hand in the intensifying of war and implementing the United States’ strategy in Afghanistan.
London is also accused of trying for continuing war in Afghanistan by interfering the peace process to prolong its military presence.
