KABUL: Residents and officials in Wardak province say that both Afghan and foreign forces still continue arbitrary operations there, killing and injuring civilians and destroying their properties.
Members of the provincial council accuse the government of not being serious in prevention of these operations, saying that the silence helps widening rifts between government and people.
They say that the night raids are mostly carried out in the province without coordination with the government, security bodies and provincial council, which have caused serious problems for people.
Provincial governor calls this as matter of concern and asks Taliban not to use people’s houses as shelters.
