KABUL: Afghanistan has recorded 183 new cases of coronavirus and six deaths in the past 24 hours across the country, said the Ministry of Public Health on Saturday.
The total tally since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached to 60,122 cases around the country.
According to the ministry, the new cases were reported positive out of 1,162 suspected samples tested in laboratories during the same period of time.
Another 66 patients have fully recovered during the same period of hours.
The total recoveries have exceeded to 53,272 and the deaths to 2,637 across the country since the outbreak of the pandemic started in the country one year ago.
