AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Daesh is recruiting children and forcing girls to marry its fighters in eastern Nangarhar province, locals said.
Local tribal elders said the multinational terror group had executed several people including civilians and unleashed a new wave of violence.
Haji Azim Khan, a tribal elder in Achin district, said that the terror group has started recruitment of young men and children to fight for the group.
Daesh terrorists were searching houses to find new recruits including children and to identify young girls and women for forced marriages, he said, adding that people who worked or working for the government are killed.
Frustrated with the increasing brutality of the terrorists, the Achin district chief Haji Ghalib Mujahid asked the residents for uprising against Daesh in the province.
Daesh and the Taliban often attack each other in the province since the two have become sworn-enemies.
