KABUL: The ministry of public health reported 630 confirmed cases of the pandemic Covid-19 with 24 deaths recorded during the past 24 hours across the country.

According to the ministry, the new tally was recovered out of 3,156 samples. The total number of cases surpasses 147,154. The death number also rises to 6,708.

This comes as the Afghan health officials earlier warned the people to take the precautionary measures serious as the virus is still circulating across the society.

Afghanistan also received 140,000 doses of the Astrazeneca vaccine by the Sweden government.
