Tribesmen from Wana South Waziristan headed by Member of Pakistan National Assembly and one out of three top leaders of Pakhtoon Tahafuz Tehrik (PTM) Saturday marched to Pak Afghan crossing point at Angoor Ada whereas they not only condoled but also made a protest against killing of eight Kabulkhel Wazir tribesmen mysteriously shot dead one week back. The assailants intruded houses in village Rakha, Tehsil Beermal and picked eight persons. All these eight persons included close relatives were later on shot dead by unknown gunmen. Since occurrence on March 10, there is hue and cry throughout tribal regions, parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and media, asking the Afghan government to probe the incident. Though people in Paktika province included public representatives confirmed the violent act. The Afghan government has announced probing the matter through a commission. And the commission is yet to probe and make public its findings. The tribesmen delegation headed by Ali Wazir forced to stop by Pakistan security forces and they through “fingers and voices” condoled the sad demises of eight tribesmen with elders and dwellers of village Rakha, who have been detached of each other’s through one-sided fencing on controversial Durand Line. Whatever might be the purpose but Saturday the “hidden hands” succeeded when the Ahmadzai Wazir tribesmen in general and PTM leader in particular lead a protest whereas some of its participants have chanted slogans against the Afghan government. On such grounds, it could be considered an internal matter of Afghanistan and Pakistan’s “biased Media” must revisit its hostilities based policies. The incident occurred in a village situated just on Afghan area that has crossing point with Pakistan, therefore, it could be probed either through a joint commission or a commission of UN and other international bodies. It was not first or last incident but in recent past similar violent occurred at different points of Durand Line, which most of it lunched through fake operations by Pakistani military. Security forces, law enforcing and secret agencies of Pakistan is engaged in such type of tactics, provoking civilians against Afghan government and political leadership. On such grounds, media and common people needs to remain peaceful, patient and tolerant on such acts and pressurize rulers at Islamabad for probing such acts through credible and impartial bodies.
