AT-KABUL: Chief Executive, Abdullah Abdullah admitted Sunday the views and suggestion offered by political parties over the October legislative election as “reasonable”.
Speaking at the 89th anniversary of a former foreign minister, Mohammad Wali Darwazi, Abdullah said that political parties were playing weak role as they did in the past since the reign of King Amanullah.
Darwazi was head of the country’s diplomatic body during Amanullah’s kingdom. Abdullah said that there were restrictions for children’s education during Amanullah’s government and now the doors of schools are closed for students.
Foreign affairs caretaker minister, called Darwazi as a symbol of freedom, while Darwazi’s grandson spoke about his political struggles and efforts.
Mohammad Wali Darwazi is also called as the founder of the Afghan Red Crescent Society. He made efforts during his political life.
