KABUL – An explosion was reported in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, on Saturday evening, sparking concerns across the city. Eyewitnesses claim the blast occurred on Darul Aman Street, near the Russian Embassy.
Local sources suggest that a roadside mine, placed in a waterway, caused the explosion. Residents described the blast as unusually powerful, distinct from previous attacks that have targeted Taliban forces in the area.
As of now, there are no confirmed reports of casualties. The Afghan interim government has yet to issue a statement, and no group has claimed responsibility for the incident. The situation remains tense as authorities continue their investigation.
