Kabul: The first transit train from Afghanistan has arrived in Van, Turkey, after a 40-day journey, according to Iranian media reports. The train entered Iran about a month ago, as reported by the Iranian news agency ISNA. It traveled through Iran via the “Razinak” route.
The month-long delay of the transit train was attributed to “unknown reasons,” according to Iranian media. Afghanistan plans to use the Herat-Khaf railway to facilitate the transportation of its products to markets in Turkey and Europe.
