KABUL: The first meeting of the ambassadors of countries involved in the Istanbul-Heart of Asia Process in 2019 was held Wednesday in Kabul.
Deputy foreign minister for political affairs Idrees Zaman chaired the meeting in which head of the High Peace Council secretariat and relevant ambassadors attended.
Zaman hailed the support from member countries, calling the Istanbul Process important for progress in the region. He particularly thanked Turkish government for hosting the eighth round of the meeting.
