KABUL: Afghan Foreign Minister Haneef Atmar arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Monday.
During his three day visit, Mr. Atmar will meet with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and other senior Indian government officials on the Afghan peace process, upcoming regional forums on peace and development in Afghanistan, security and economic cooperation.
Afghanistan Foreign Ministry in a statement said that bilateral ties, regional and international consensus on Afghan peace, and cooperation in the fight against terrorism are issues to be discussed with Indian officials.
The Minister will also meet with former Indian ambassadors to Kabul, representatives of Afghan students, businessmen, and a number of Afghan refugees.
