KABUL: Abdulrahman Shiddani, a former representative Bamyan province in the parliament is said to have traveled to Qatar, the capital city of Doha, where he joined the Taliban insurgency.
Bamyan Provincial Governor Office in a statement called on the security forces to investigate the issue.
Shaiddani previously had a case at Attorney General Office. Once he opposed the landing of Kam Air airplane in Bamyan after he missed the flight. He was also accused of physically beating head of the Bamyan provincial council.
The Taliban maintains a political office in Doha, where its political delegation presently confers the agenda of the intra-Afghan negotiations with the government negotiation team.
