Kabul: Former President met with a number of members of the Afghanistan Journalism Council. In this meeting, the attendees talked about the problems of journalists and media in the country, considered the progress of the country to be dependent on education and emphasized that he hopes that girl schools higher than the sixth grade will be opened so that the children of Afghanistan can acquire knowledge.
Hamid Karzai called the problems of the media and journalists important and promised any cooperation to solve these problems. Also, the former president considered education as the only way to get rid of foreign needs and progress and prosperity of Afghanistan. He also emphasized the consolidation of national unity and harmony as much as possible.
