Kabul: On Wednesday, November 23, the German Embassy for Afghanistan based in Berlin and Doha tweeted, “Considering the dire humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, Germany has increased its humanitarian aid to Afghanistan by 90 million euros.”
The German Embassy in Afghanistan has added that these donations are free and will be implemented through the World Food Program and the United Nations Development Program.
According to the announcement, the total amount of German aid this year will reach 331 million euros, which will be implemented by the United Nations, the Red Cross and non-governmental organizations.
While emphasizing solidarity with the people of Afghanistan, the declaration added that we condemn the systematic violation of human rights, especially of Afghan girls and women. All Afghans should have the right to movement, freedom of expression and peaceful assembly without fear of arrest or intimidation.
It should be noted that after the fall of the previous regime, the people of Afghanistan faced severe economic and financial challenges, and the level of poverty and unemployment increased unrelentingly.
