AT-KABUL: President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday met with the families of victims of Torkham and Goshta district of Nangarhar province in presidential place, his office said.
Ghani thanked the families who enrolled their sons in the security organs for defending of the territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
He offered his heart condolence for the grievers of the victim of the Torkham and Goshta district and prayed for the “martyrs” of the Torkham clashes.
The president donated cash to the families of the victims and vowed that government is work over a fundamental mechanism to provide durable aids to the families of security victims.
