AT-KABUL: The Deputy Speaker of the Wolesi Jirga (Lower House of Parliament), Zahir Qadir, said the government will collapse, if he presented evidence to substantiate his allegations that Daesh receives support from the National Security Council (NSC).
Talking to the plenary session of the Wolesi Jirga on Wednesday, Qadir said that when the time was right, he will hand over the evidence to the concerned organizations.
Zahir Qadir recently claimed the Daesh leaders are living in Kabul under the NSC’s patronage. The government assigned a commission to investigate Qadir’s allegations.
Zahir Qadir stressed on accuracy of his allegations and warned that the government will collapse, if presented evidence.
He said that a number of people under the name of support to the government are indirectly involved in moving the country towards instability.
“If I presented evidence, the government will collapse,” he said, adding that he don’t want the government to collapse. He said that he will present the evidence at the right time.
He had earlier said that he will resign, if failed to prove his allegations. He had also questioned the commission assigned by the government and said that he will cooperate with the commission, if the government suspended National Security Advisor Hanif Atmar.
