KABUL: A number of unidentified gunmen killed four members of a family and wounded two others in the northern of Kunduz, an official said on Sunday.
Provincial council member, Mohammad Yusuf Ayubi said that the incident occurred in Bandar Bukhari area of Khanabad district. The victims included one woman, he said, adding that one perpetrator was arrested by the police.
The attack was not claimed by any militant group.
Kunduz is among insecure provinces in the north of Afghanistan, where Taliban are strongly active in many parts of the province. Afghanistan has recently been hit with an uptick in gunmen attacks. On Saturday, two people were shot dead in two separate gunmen attack in capital Kabul.
