AT Kabul: In a statement commemorating Quds Day, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi emphasized the significance of resistance against the actions of the Israeli regime. Abbas Araqchi warned that weakening resistance could jeopardize the security of the entire Arab world.
The minister called on the international community to take concrete actions in support of Palestine. He stressed the need to support the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, oppose the genocide in Gaza, halt cooperation with the Israeli regime, and prosecute Israeli leaders in international courts.
Abbas Araqchi also reiterated that the liberation of Palestine is an achievable goal, highlighting that global protests continue to demonstrate the ongoing struggle for justice.
Quds Day, observed annually on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, is a day of organized protests against the Israeli government. The event serves as a reminder of the global solidarity with Palestine, with large-scale demonstrations taking place in Iran and around the world, expressing opposition to Israel’s policies.
