Rana Sanaullah, senior advisor of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, warned during a press conference that Pakistan will no longer tolerate terrorism.
He emphasized that elements affiliated with the Islamic Emirate and Indian intelligence operating on Pakistani soil will face firm and strict measures.
Sanaullah also pointed to the rising tensions between Islamabad and the Islamic Emirate , stating that Pakistan considers the Islamic Emirate an ally of India in supporting anti-government militants in Pakistan.
These remarks come in the wake of recent Baloch militant attacks on the Jaffer Express train in Balochistan. Pakistan claimed that the hostage-takers had connections with the masterminds of this attack in Afghanistan.
Pakistan has also accused India of being involved in the attack. However, both the Islamic Emirate and Indian officials have repeatedly rejected these allegations, calling them baseless.
In recent years, Pakistan’s relations with both the Islamic Emirate and India have become increasingly strained due to security and terrorism concerns.
Following the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Islamic Emirate rise to power, Pakistan has been concerned about the surge in terrorist activities along its borders.
Islamabad has repeatedly accused the Islamic Emirate of harboring terrorist groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). However, the Islamic Emirate has consistently denied these accusations, labeling them as Pakistan’s internal affairs.
