KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the attack at a mosque in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz.
The former president called such attacks ‘terrorist’ and the plot of the foreigners against the people of Afghanistan.
On Friday afternoon a blast targeted Mawlawi Sekandar mosque in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province.
Islamic Emirate’s Spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid said that at least 33 people including children, were killed and 43 others wounded in the attack on a mosque in Imam Sahib of Kunduz province.
The Islamic Emirate also condemned the attack and vowed to find out the perpetrators and hold them accountable.
To overcome such challenges, Karzai called on the Afghans to work for unity and increase awareness.
On Thursday, a blast in Si-Dukan mosque in the northern province of Mazar-e-Sharif left dozens of people killed and wounded.
