KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the airstrike that killed and injured civilians including women and children in the southern province of Helmand.

Karzai denounced the attack as cruel and inhumane act.

He called on the ongoing war in Afghanistan only killing of Afghans, asking the two parties of war to abandon violence against their own people for the benefit of the aliens.

The former president wished paradise for the dead and swift recovery for the wounded.
