AT News Report-KABUL: Hamid Karzai, the former president “strongly” condemned the killing of civilians in the southern Helmand province, his office said Monday.
“The former president terms attacks on houses and villages and killing of helpless civilians an unjustifiable act that is against every humane and Islamic principles,” Karzai’s office said in a statement, adding that the former president had called for the immediate end of operations against civilians.
He wished paradise for the deceased and recovery for the injured.
