Karzai condemns Helmand suicide attack

AT-KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai strongly condemned Wednesday’s suicide attack in Helmand province, in which at least five civilians were martyred and dozens more injured.

“The former president called the attack anti-Islamic and inhumane that is only carried out by the enemies of Afghanistan,” a statement from Karzai’s office said.

Karzai wished paradise for the martyrs and quick recovery for the injured.
