Kabul: Former President Hamid Karzai, in a telephone conversation with Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, emphasized on the continuation of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan and the removal of obstacles to the activities of national and international aid organizations in the country.

Mr. Karzai’s Twitter page stated that in addition to the aid, they discussed the reopening of schools and universities, the return of women and girls to work, and the start of the national dialogue.
