AT-KABUL: Ex-President Hamid Karzai left for Moscow for a 4-day visit at the invitation of Mr. Igor S. Ivanov, President of Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) the other day. Hamid Karzai is expected to speak to the members of the council and appear at a press conference. He will discuss developments in Afghanistan and the region. He will also elaborate on the challenges, particularly the growing menace of radicalism and opportunities for common efforts to advance security and prosperity in the broader region.
Hamid Karzai will also exchange views on different issues of mutual interest with the leadership of the Russian Federation and visit cultural and historical sites in Moscow and Saint Petersburg cities.
