Kabul: Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, met with a number of women’s rights activists.
In this meeting, the participants demanded the opening of girls’ schools as soon as possible and the return of women to their work and duties, they considered the country’s progress to be dependent on participation of women in all fields.
The former president also considered the country’s prosperity in the education and active presence of women in all areas of life.
In addition the participant condemned yesterday’s terrorist attack on Muharram gathering in Kabul, which caused the killing and injuring of dozen of Afghans.
