Kabul: Former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai met with a number of elders of Paktia province.
In this meeting, the speakers talked about the necessity of education for the development of the country and requested the opening of girls’ schools as soon as possible. The participants of the meeting also emphasized the importance of national unity and harmony in the country.
The former president emphasized education as the reason for the well-being and development of the society and reiterated on the immediate opening of middle and high schools for girls and the initiation of national negotiations for permanent peace and stability in the country.
