AT-KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai met Sunday with the ambassadors to Russian Federation, Italy and Kazakhstan to Kabul, his office said.
“In the meeting with Ambassador Alexander Mantytskiy, Karzai appreciated Russian government for inviting him at the Moscow security conference, planned to be held late this month,” Karzai’s office said in a statement.
Also, the ex-president held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Italian ambassador Luciano Pezzotti in his office, according to the statement.
In the meeting with the Kazakh ambassador Omertay Bitimov, appreciating the government of Kazakhstan for the invitation to the Eurasia Press Meeting scheduled to be held in Astana, the statement added.
