Kabul: Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai calls for national dialogue and reopening of schools and universities for girls.
Karzai told this while interacting with number of country’s youth, who met him Saturday and discussed the importance of education for boys and girls in Afghanistan.
During the meeting the youth representatives talked in detail about the need for education and its role in country’s development, and self-sufficiency.
Karzai tweeted that in the meeting they stressed the need for a national dialogue to ensure lasting peace in the country, and once again emphasized on reopening of schools and universities for girls.
Also, in this meeting, emphasis was placed on the national unity and consensus in the country, and the return of women to work.
