Kabul: Former President Hamid Karzai has thanked and appreciated Al-Azhar University, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, United Nations and other countries of the world for their clear stance in supporting the right to education and higher education.

Karzai, besides stressing the vital and basic value of education for the growth, well-being and development of the human society, has assured that the Afghan children and youth will get their legitimate right in the field of education.
