Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhumangarin, was present at the opening of the business forum, where he proposed increasing the annual number of grants for Afghan citizens to study in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan from 30 to 60. Additionally, thirty Afghan children have been invited to spend ten vacation days in summer camps in Kazakhstan.

Zhumangarin emphasized potential cooperation between the two countries in the chemical industry, mining and metallurgical complex, geological exploration, mining and processing of solid minerals, and IT technologies. He also highlighted Kazakhstan’s interest in supplying domestically manufactured cars and establishing service dealerships in Afghanistan.

Kazakh agricultural products, including sunflower oil, cereal products, and flour, garnered significant interest among Afghan businessmen during the forum. Agreements were reached for the supply of these products, amounting to more than $12 million. Furthermore, plans are underway to finalize the first contract with Kazakh suppliers for the supply of motor oil to Afghanistan.
