AT-KABUL: At least eight soldiers have martyred in a clash erupted between them and the Taliban insurgents in northern Kunduz province, the 303 Pamir Police Zone said in a statement on Sunday.
The incident occurred on Saturday night, in which dozens of Taliban insurgents attacked the district.
According to statement, Taliban insurgents attacked Dashte-e-Archi district of the province and clashed with security forces.
The 303 Pamir Police Zone confirmed losing eight soldiers, adding six Taliban’s Red Unit members were also killed in the clash. In addition to that four other Taliban insurgents received injuries.
After several hours of clash, the security forces pushed back the insurgents attack with sustaining them casualties.
