By Akhtar M. Nikzad-KABUL: The Mishrano Jirga or Upper House of parliament on Sunday admired Manpreet Vohra, Indian ambassador in Kabul for his country’s help in economic section.
In a bid to honor the great financial supports of India to Afghanistan, Afghan senators as delegation of people of India appreciated Vohra and his two deputies in Kabul.
Afghan senators honored India great financial support for Afghanistan and presented Vohra an appreciation letter as well as a bouquet.
Chief of Senate Fazil Hadi Muslimyar admired the continual assistance of India to Afghanistan, saying that New Delhi had taken the hands of Afghans in the critical condition.
He termed reconstruction of Salma Hydropower Dam a considerable measure government of India and asked this country to support other hydropower dams in the country.
In the sometime India Ambassador in Kabul, Manpreet Vohra, said that India is committed to its friendly relations with Afghan government and he termed reconstruction of Salma Dam as symbol of good will of India.
According to him India is trying to resolve the security and economical challenges in Afghanistan
